The HD Lite is built similar to the Sport model. The Sport is weighted back and easy to run in mud and weeds. The HD Lite is a balanced short tail. Meaning, it takes much less effort to raise the propeller out of the water using the operator handle. This balance drive is preferred by mud motor enthusiasts with lots of stick time. It is also known as the moto-cross model of the mud motor world. If you run in timber, rocky rivers and ice, the balanced drive HD Lite is for you.
